How do you unleash the power within you?

The question is always asked "how do we learn to release the tremendous spiritual power that is within us?"   This is a valid question and is usually asked by every serious believer who is endeavoring to grow in their spiritual life.   Not to be simplistic but there are some simple steps that will lead you experiencing and unleashing this spiritual power in your life.

First and foremost, be sure of your salvation experience and know that you have accepted Jesus as your Saviour.   Once that is settled, you are ready to embark on your spiritual journey and a lifetime of walking by faith and living in the Spirit.  Here are some simple guidelines that might help:

1.  Spend some quality time in the Word.  Just make it a consistent practice in your life.

2.  Find a time every day to converse and communicate with the Lord Jesus.   Tell Him what you want, what you need, and what you want Him to do and it will make a huge difference in your spiritual walk.

3.  Memorize the Scriptures that deal with the Holy Spirit's power and manifestation in your life.   If you know them  by heart, they will come to you when you most need them or are preparing to launch out by faith in some area of your life.

4.  Surround yourself with other believers who are hungry for the Lord and His Word.  You will grow more by doing this than you ever imagined.

5.  Specifically ask the Lord to teach you how to hear His voice.   Let the one who is doing the talking also do the teaching...

6.  When you're spiritually brave and ready to unleash His power in your life, ASK HIM to provide opportunities in your life to see and experience what He has for you.   I promise you not be disappointed in what He does...

Get prayed up and studied up and then just JUMP OUT IN FAITH BELIEVING--and He can and will meet you at your point of need!
