Living by Faith in the Joy & Power of the Spirit

 As we all embark on this new faith adventure together, there are just a few guidelines that I think will help and encourage us in the days to come.   Here they are: *  Hopefully you are a born again believer but it is not a requirement to be here and to participate.  *  Always be loving and friendly.   We are here to learn and share together--not argue.   *  Be respectful of other's opinions.  We can agree to disagree but hopefully we will all have a good Biblical basis for our opinions and beliefs.   *  Our goal is to grow and mature in our "living relationship" with the Holy Spirit as he indwells us as believers.   *  Enjoy the task at hand.  The Bible is our basis and guide and the adventure comes when we learn to "live and walk in the Spirit." * Always remember that the Word of God is our inerrant and final authority.  

 After retiring from active pastoral ministry in 2010, I have finally decided to get back into a new form of Christian and Biblical ministry--and that is through a totally Christian blog based on Biblical truth.  It will be an opportunity to share Biblical truths and insights and also to minister the Gospel in a new and unique way.   We will be blogging about the entire spectrum of Christian topics, thoughts, and concepts.   This is the beginning of our new step of faith.   I hope you enjoy it, study with us, and contribute when you are comfortable doing so.   We are open to your thoughts and ideas about how to embark on our new venture.   The vast majority of our time and efforts will be studying, sharing, and learning about how to "walk in the Spirit" and to discover all of the marvelous things the Spirit of the Lord can do in and through a consecrated life.
